Eager product designer and artist with a passion for cheesecake.
Hi, I'm Taylor! I'm from the Niagara region and I'm so excited to be graduating and begin my career as a digital product designer. I started with a bachelor's in visual arts from Brock University but sought out a way to use my creativity in a more structured application. It's no doubt that UX design is my passion, and I'm looking for my next opportunity to use the skills I've worked hard to obtain through this program. Thanks for stopping by and feel free to reach out!
ONO Capstone Project
As a group of 4 we were tasked to solve a design challenge from an industry partner. We were challenged to build a remote group collaboration space for Hello xLAB KK's existing platform ONO. Through all phases of the design cycle, we developed research-based insights that drove the iteration of a high-fidelity prototype, refined through user testing.
My role: UX researcher, UI designer, UX Writer
What I did: Co-created the research plan, conducted interviews, synthesized data, co-develop design requirements, journey maps and personas, co-developed user flow and wireframes, co-wrote user testing plan, conducted user testing, assisted with creating hi-fi prototype.
In this project, the key insights we uncovered lead us to develop a messaging centre, a group activities centre, a project and task management feature, and a team evaluation feature. We ensured that both our stakeholder input and user needs were considered through every design decision, and front-of-mind in every stage of the design cycle.
Through these features, issues with accountability between group members will be mitigated and communication can be upheld. The result is a product that facilitates interpersonal relationship building among group members working in a remote capacity.
