I wish I had an interview-worthy story about what inspired me to be a product designer, but in truth, I simply wanted to experience the West in person and the universe responded. The past 8 months haven't been easy, but I feel grateful the 2021 James invested so much of his money and energy so that I have the chance to gain wisdom and meet genuine friends from this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Sleep Right - The Privacy Project
Context: After the Covid-19 pandemic, people are getting more comfortable with putting their data online for the sake of security and efficiency.
Objective: To provoke thoughts about the balance and the boundaries between personal privacy and efficiency in the context of the growing scale of mass data collection.

Humanizing Bank Researching Experience
The Client: Bank of Montreal
The Problem: Starting a new life in another country is an overwhelming experience. How might we help newcomers to Canada feel welcomed and prepared for their Canadian future?
My Role: Helping keep the team aligned and focused on the core issue we identified and making decisions in overall design directions.
What I did: In-depth user-centred research; Design solution exploration; Iterations based on user testing feedback; Collaboration with team members.
