As a life-long artist and designer, I entered digital product design as the next step in my design journey. I’m interested in visual communication, making ideas and processes more accessible, and working in this field where design has a meaningful impact in people's lives. Previously, I’ve worked as a surface designer and illustrator for editorial, advertising, children’s books, and more. When not consumed by Figma, I can be found illustrating, reading, and baking.
Podcast Addict App Redesign
My Role: Researcher, Writer, Designer
The purpose of this redesign was to improve the UI and discoverability feature of the popular Android app, Podcast Addict. In doing so, users are provided with a more streamlined and engaging podcast experience and can effectively discover new content based on their existing tastes and listening history.
As a user of Podcast Addict, redesigning it was a way for me to improve the experience of an otherwise unique app that has extensive functions and customization options, with the goal of improving user engagement and retention.
ONO Remote Collaboration Tool
My Role: Facilitator, Designer, Writer
The challenge from our industry partner, Hello xLab, was to develop a cohesive user experience to build upon their matchmaking platform, ONO. This experience would allow users to have a single-channel collaboration tool accessible anytime, from anywhere.
Additionally, the goal of this project was to alleviate the issues people experience when working remotely. Therefore, this prototype focuses on project management, improving communication and collaboration within a team, and creating a culture of transparency and accountability.
