Product Designer, Traveler and Mingler.
I am a business student turned product designer who knew from the start that she wanted to always be surrounded by people to make better products and services for them, and there is no better way to do that than through product design. I have a passion to try out new things and explore. Furthermore, I love trying out different cuisines, seeing new Art, coming across new technology and travelling to different countries to explore their culture. All this exposure helps me broaden my mind and keeps my thirst for more knowledge and curiosity going, which is what also makes me a good designer.
EASY - Easiest game booking app
As the number of gaming centres, gaming cafés and escape rooms increases, most of these places ask interested people to make appointments before they could come in to try out the games, and people can only book from different official websites respective to their own gaming centre, which means they have to visit many websites to compare prices, reviews and time slots between different places, which results into making the booking/scheduling process long, tedious and disorganized.
Our task was to create a booking system by following a design sprint. My role was to take part in every phase of the design sprint. I worked on some 'how might we' and as a group, we chose our main HMW.
I worked on planning and sketching initial ideas, and low fidelity designs created a user test plan and conducted user tests, adding some additional screens to create a complete prototype and some animations.
Reddit - A redesign project
Although Reddit has a large user base, it is overwhelming for first-time users due to content overload. Some content is repetitive, action buttons are not prominent enough and information is hard to find.
The task was to choose an app and recognise user pain points in the app and redesign one of its features and functions to create a smoother user experience. I chose to work on creating your own custom feed and finding communities to add and follow. I also redesigned their layout and made action functions more prominent.
I followed the whole design process from ideation to creating final designs after user testing. I worked on user research, competitive analysis, user flows, low fidelity designs, user testing, high fidelity designs and prototyping.
