I have always found enjoyment in being creative and getting my hands dirty. Before entering the world of design I began my creative journey as a fine arts student who loved studying and creating for people. Taking this love of art and people watching I began my journey in design by working on a Bachelors in Design and starting my career as a in house graphic designer. As my interest in digital design grew, I decided to pursue additional education to move into the realm of product design.
Outside of design I remain an avid people watcher, illustrator and painter. In non creative ventures I enjoy reading, drinking coffee beverages (of all types), volunteering, and collecting and caring for plants. I own 51 plants to this day! Yes, I counted.
Juxtapose

Juxtapose is an election tool to assist new and returning voters in accessing reliable voting resources and to aid in the understanding of the voter process. With this tool new voters will be able to compare election materials by filtering by political party and issue.
A primary component for this project was ensuring that it met AODA standards. As this application would be used as a tool for a government election, it was important to ensure that the colour, typography, and components met AAA compliance.

ONO creates a streamlined user experience that matches the needs of users looking for collaboration opportunities. Once matched, the created team can collaborate, upload, communication and track progress through the project dashboard.
Working with our industry partner hello-xLab for phase two of ONO, our team was tasked with exploring the workspace dashboard of an established project team. I took a lead role in the production of the final prototype and participated in conducting the user testing and analysis of results for further iteration.
