Hi, my name is Yixuan Wang. I'm a UI/UX designer who enjoys problem-solving with unique ideas and thoughts. One year ago, I decided to change my design career from landscape to digital product which require similar software and art skill.
As a designer and creator, I have a huge interest in new digital products and technology which could provide me a better awareness of new trend.
IKEA App Searching Feature Redesign
This project is ideation about redesigning the IKEA app to put more resources in to make shopping online more user-friendly during the current times with Covid-19.
This project is an individual case study, I play various roles to demonstrate my ideas and learn more about user flow and interactive design from a real app which is in use.
Starting from researching the original app, I collected the feedback from the app store and figured out pain points during the pandemic. Based on insights of feedback, I generated user flow, persona, and prototype. After user testing, I integrated the design and got my final verison.
