Product Designer & Plant Hoarder
My goal in design is to guide people through the complexity they face in their everyday life. It’s not just about making things look good. It’s about creating the right solution through an intersection of research, creative problem-solving, and understanding of the business goals and end-user. In my spare time, I enjoy adding to my ever-growing collection of ailing plants.
Fitwell
Problem: Many working adults struggle to prioritize their health due to life’s demands.
Solution: Fitwell's automated calendar suggests activities based on users' goals and schedules, adapting the suggestions to their physical and mental state. It also offers pre-made programs to help achieve their objectives.
Value: A hybrid approach of in-person and virtual sessions helps combat member loss for fitness studios and relieves the struggle of choosing between competing priorities and health.
Mindful Miles
Problem: Commuting can cause long-lasting stress, especially for students who are new drivers.
Solution: A navigation app designed to prioritize students' well-being. It offers mindful exercises to reduce anxiety and increase focus on the road.
Value: While we can’t control outside factors, we may be able to improve the experience by changing our response to these events. By minimizing aggressive or fearful driving, users can focus on driving and contribute to safer roads.
