Shaunak (Shaun) Roychowdhury
Product and
Brand Identity Designer
In the pursuit of creating design that speaks to the soul, I strive to make products that are not just functional, but also emotional and expressive. That’s my jam. Please connect with me on my handles to keep in touch. CAUTION- At your own risk, I like talking design too much!
Overcoming the inconvenience caused by ongoing construction at Yonge and Eglinton
The Problem:
Hefu Noodle is a famous Chinese Ramen chain restaurant brand, but the
ordering process is cluttered. Thus I had to unify the brand image in the ordering app’s experience and focused on ordering online to get more regular customers.
My Role:
Individually done the background research, wireframe creation, and high-fidelity mockups to align my design with project goals
What I did:
Conducted on-site observation of stores and guerrilla research.
Redesigned the user flow and interface for the existing app and adjusted features to adapt the future branch stores in Canada.
To optimise the grading exprience of Pulse by BrightSpace
The Problem:
The grading system on Pulse is challenging for users to view and compare grades, receive
feedback and track academic performance easily. By providing data visualization and
goals-tracking calculators, the grades-checking process will be more clear and friendly.
My Role:
Led team in each design sprint after the research result came out. Make decisions for each iteration of design.
What I did:
Conducted user interviews
Set components and prototype flows
Set user testing plan and analyzed feedback
Iterated design based on feedback
